You can start printing softer prints today if you switch to printing with water based printing inks.  People get custom screen printing every day and a lot of the time they are using plastisol inks to do so.  Plastisol inks are nice because the excess ink can easily be reclaimed to be used again which helps keep the cost low.  They won’t dry up since they don’t contain a solvent, but there is a drawback to this property since they need to be cured to set permanently.  When you cure a plastisol ink it stiffens up and when you’re dealing with a lot of ink coverage it can make a garment feel heavy and bulky. Water based printing inks don’t have that problem so you can get super soft hand on your own custom prints.

Water based printing inks are formulated with a solvent, usually water, which means you can’t reuse them like plastisol inks, but the tradeoff is in the quality of the print.  Water based printing inks are thinner and penetrate more into the garment while leaving behind a soft hand. The water based inks take on the feel of the garment you’re printing on so it’s perfect for professional fashion applications where quality is key.  You’ll be able to offer fantastic prints that feel top of the line which is sure to please your customers!

Umbrella Printing

Umbrella Printing

When the weather is not so nice out with rain or too bright with the sun, a lot of people will bring out their umbrellas. Many umbrellas have prints and different types of designs and fun patterns on them. If you have company parties or events these are great give away items. Many screen printing companies cannot do specialty prints like umbrella printing but that is where you will find this company to be different.

AMBRO Manufacturing can print on many different materials. We can print on tee shirts, blankets, all the way to bags and totes. One of our specialty printing is umbrella printing. This will use special ink since the material is so thin and has to withstand the weather conditions. We can only print on one panel of an umbrella. The design will be printed on the bottom most part of the panel as we cannot get the very tip over the table on our machines. You can get your company logo or anything else to put on the umbrella. Most of our prints that we have done in the past are only one color. We have many ink colors in house that you can choose from to make your logo stand out on the umbrella.
