Our Story

AMBRO Manufacturing Inc. is a contract screen printing company in Flemington, NJ.  Our business started in 1987 in the basement of our CEO, Bob Amato.  Bob did not envision building a large business, his plan was to simply make a living and have the flexibility of working out of his home.

Five years later, Ryan Amato joined the company and both father and son began to grow the business.  It soon became evident that the basement could no longer support the business needs.  Large automatic presses were needed to satisfy our customers and they simply could not fit inside of Bob's home.

In 1998 the company moved out of the basement and into a 5,000 square foot facility in Flemington, NJ.  A few months later, our first large scale automatic screen press and multi-head embroidery equipment arrived and our business began to grow.  We hired our first employee and started actively marketing to local businesses within our community.

By 2006, we had 14 employees and lots of new customers.  We launched a website, added additional equipment to keep up with our contract printing customers and we built a new building, also in Flemington, NJ. 

In 2007 we moved into our new 15,000 sqft custom build facility and expanded to 16 employees.  We added additional equipment and our new building has a loading dock, warehouse space and a significantly increased production floor space to keep up with our growth.  In 2009, we added solar panels to our roof and we now power 75% of our electrical needs from the sun.  We also converted to soy based cleaners and as many water based ink products as possible to reduce our carbon footprint and manufacture in a socially responsible way.

In 2012 Darren Amato joined the company.  AMBRO Manufacturing, now a father and two sons operation was now poised to increase our growth.  With Bob Amato at the helm of the company, Ryan Amato as President and Darren Amato as VP of Sales & Marketing, we were ready for even more significant growth.

In 2013 the company added sublimation and cut and sew to our capabilities, we continue to re-invent ourselves and explore new capabilities and services for our customers.

2014 is shaping up to be a great year for the company.  Our strategy is simple ...
