Custom Embroidery Baseball Cap

Custom Embroidery Baseball Caps have seen a surge in popularity thanks to the help of Hollywood. Over the past several years, new leading characters have come out in block buster movies and are wearing a signature baseball cap. This trend has grossed gender line popularity with men and women and has created an explosion of resurgence in the fashion world of caps.

We’ve seen more new cap designs and more revival of retro caps in the last 3 years, than over the last 30. Circa 2002, you could find a few varieties of cap, but in 2021 and beyond, you are now starting to see a huge range of style offerings.

What’s been interesting with custom embroidery baseball caps is to see how popular some of the old styles from the 1970’s have become. Trucker hats, foam hats and what was once considered a “cheap” cap, are all highly sought after items.

One of the most popular requests with trucker hats has been to implement a faux patch on the front. If you’ve ever seen the classic hat with the rounded edge rectangular patch on the front, it is this style that has really been popular.

Since small patch runs of under 100 patches are often too much for most clients. Faux patch sewing has become more popular. Faux patch sewing is when we make an embroidery design look like a patch. We base down a fill pattern or mash down stitch, sew the design on top of that, and then put a satin stitch around the edge, to emulate the classic merrowed edge of a patch.

High Density Custom Printing

If you’d like to create custom prints that practically jump off the fabric then you may want to learn more about high density custom printing.  If you’ve never heard of it before, high density custom printing is a specialty method of printing that builds on itself to create lift off of the garment.  Your prints won’t be flat on the surface, but rather they are raised to create dimension!

High Density Custom Printing

High density custom printing isn’t like puff prints because they have an edge.  Puff printing uses inks that are formulated to rise, essentially like bread dough, when exposed to heat.  The resulting print puffs up to be rounded in profile, but it can only get so tall.  High density printing is different because you use special screens with added thickness to build up the print vertically.  What you are left with is a print that comes to a hard edge and pops up off the garment.  The crisp edge gives you that unique look that you can’t find just anywhere so it’s great way to bolster retail sales.  People are always looking for a way to distinguish their designs from all the others and specialty printing services are an easy way to make it happen!

AMBRO Manufacturing handles many customization options in fact, so you can find high density custom printing alongside tons of other choices.  You won’t need to contract a new company every time you want to mix things up because we offer such choices as oversized printing, foil printing, scented printing, water based and discharge ink printing, sublimation, embroidery, and even more.  It’s easy to begin working with us as all you need to do is reach out to one of our representatives and we’ll happily show you the way.  You can contact us to place an order, or to find out more about our company and all of the customization services we have to offer, by email or by giving us a call at (908) 806-8337.
